The Quokka is the fifth richest thoroughbred race in Australia and the most lucrative outside Victoria and New South Wales.
The inaugural running of the 1200m sprint was won by Overpass who held off the fast-finishing Amelia’s Jewel to claim top honours at his first appearance in the west.
The 2024 edition of The Quokka will see 14 of the best sprinters compete in WA’s biggest race.

The TABtouch Nullarbor is the richest and newest Group 1 harness race in Australasia.
History was made in the inaugural running with Betterzippit for Slot Holder TABtouch victorious in the 2536m race. The race carries the title of The Nullarbor in honour of the great plain which connects the east coast of Australia to the west.

The Sandgroper is the richest greyhound race to be held in Western Australia with a whopping $600,000 on offer.
It was a four-length demolition in the inaugural race by winner Crumble Monelli who from Box 4 was too good for runner-up Momentum, and Elite Machine in third place.
